West Chester, OH-based fasteners and industrial supplies distributor AFC Industries adds Kingston, PA-based fasteners distributor Circle Bolt & Nut (CBN) to deepen its presence in key geographies and add customers.

The deal, of which terms were not disclosed, follows three other acquisitions this year alone after seven in 2023.

Founded in 1979, CBN provides fasteners, C part components and fulfillment services to OEM customers throughout the United States. Since 2018 CBN has operated as part of Optimas OE Solutions.

“Adding them to the AFC platform strengthens both companies and positions both AFC and CBN for long-term success,” AFC CEO Kevin Godin said in a June 17 news release. Godin joined the MDM Podcast for an August 2023 episode to discuss AFC’s acquisition strategy.

CBN President Jim Castellino adds that the acquisition will allow the company to “explore new opportunities for growth and innovation.”

AFC Industries provides supply chain management solutions on small components and tooling for a diverse base of manufacturers and assemblers across a range of industries. This year, the company acquired an aerospace fastener provider, rubber seal supplier and fastener distributor.
