Motion and control technologies manufacturer Parker Hannifin’s Board of Directors elected current Chief Operating Officer Andrew Ross to succeed Lee Banks as the company’s President.
Effective January 1, 2024, Ross will serve as President and COO following the retirement of Banks, who currently serves as Vice Chairman, President and a Director, according to an Oct. 25 news release.
Banks has been with Parker Hannifin for 32 years in various executive operations roles. Ross joined Parker in 1998, and held various executive roles before becoming COO in 2022.
Parker CEO Expands Role
On Oct. 25, Parker announced that its Board of Directors also elected CEO and Director Jennifer Parmentier as Chairman of the Board, effective Jan. 1.
She will succeed Thomas Williams, Executive Chairman, who will retire on Dec. 31 after serving in the role since 2016.
Parmentier became CEO in January 2023. She previously served as COO and other executive positions. She joined Parker in 2008.
