Ingersoll Rand Makes Acquisitions in U.S., Italy, India

The company strengthens its market position and geographic reach with the combined $135 million additions of APSCO, Blutek and UT Pumps.
SHANGHAI, CHINA- NOV. 6, 2022: Ingersoll Rand sign is seen during the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE).

Pumps manufacturer Ingersoll Rand acquired Air Power Systems Co., Blutek s.r.l. and UT Pumps & Systems for a combined price of $135 million, marking deals in the U.S. Italy and India, respectively.

Davidson, NC-based Ingersoll Rand said that these acquisitions enhance the company’s product range, expand its geographic presence and introduce new pump technology and capabilities to its customers. The companies add more than $50 million in net revenue.

“These acquisitions demonstrate our successful bolt-on acquisition playbook, which when combined with the power of Ingersoll Rand Execution Excellence (IRX), will continue to deliver value to both customers and shareholders,” Ingersoll Rand Chairman and CEO Vicente Reynal said in an Oct. 1 news release.

APSCOAPSCO Logo

Tulsa, OK-based APSCO offers hydraulic and pneumatic products as well as engineered solutions for work truck vehicles. According to Ingersoll Rand, the acquisition will strengthen the company’s presence in the dry and liquid bulk markets by providing energy-efficient, innovative solutions.

APSCO will become part of the Industrial Technologies and Services (IT&S) segment.

Blutek

Blutek LogoItaly-based Blutek specializes in designing and developing engineered solutions for compressed air and nitrogen in critical environments. The company is a supplier to Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies.

Ingersoll Rand said that Blutek will enhance the company’s competitiveness in high-specification projects by adding technological capabilities, expertise and aftermarket potential in sectors such as biogas and carbon caption.

Blutek will be integrated into the IT&S segment.

UT Pumps

UT Pumps LogoIndia-based UT Pumps produces screw pumps and triplex pumps. This acquisition will enhance Ingersoll Rand’s portfolio with new pump technology.

UT Pumps will join the Precision and Science Technologies (P&ST) segment.
