Hydraulics manufacturer Bosch Rexroth named Erwin Wieckowski President and CEO of Bosch Rexroth North and Central America based in Charlotte, North Carolina, effective Oct. 1.
The role had been performed on an interim basis by Reinhard Schaefer in addition to his role as a member of the Divisional Board of Management with responsibility for manufacturing. Schaefer will remain in the region to support the transition, according to a Oct. 2 news release.
Wieckowski has previously spent more than 13 years in various roles at Bosch Rexroth, including serving as Executive Vice President of Mobile Hydraulics, Vice President of Factory Automation, Divisional Vice President and General Manager and General Manager of Automation, according to his LinkedIn.
In September, Bosch Rexroth opened a Hydraulics Training Center in Pennsylvania.
