Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), Herndon, VA, has promoted C. Eric Swank to chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Swank was previously chief commercial officer for the company. In his new position, Swank will lead Beacon’s $6 billion roofing and exterior products business, in addition to having company-wide responsibility for sales, marketing and supply chain, the company said.
Swank is a 15-year veteran of Beacon and has held a number of leadership roles with the company, including human resources, sales and marketing positions, the company said.
