Southworth International Group, Falmouth, ME, a manufacturer of ergonomic material handling equipment, has acquired Marco Group AB, a Sweden-based manufacturer of hydraulic lifting tables.
The acquisition expands the company's presence in European and Asian markets, and supplements the existing product supply in China, says Brian McNamara, president of Southworth International Group.
