Praxair, Inc., Danbury, CT, has acquired Praxair Distribution Mid-Atlantic, LLC, an industrial gases distribution joint venture. Praxair previously held a majority ownership stake in the business.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“Fully integrating PDMA’s operations into our core packaged gases business will enable us to achieve further synergies,” said Scott Kaltrider, president of Praxair Distribution, Inc.

PDMA has 51 locations in the Mid-Atlantic region and had sales of $225 million in 2013.
