Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR), London, UK, a leading water treatment company, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Aquion, Chicago, IL, for $160 million in cash.
Aquion sells a diverse line of water conditioners, water filters, drinking-water purifiers, ozone and ultraviolet disinfection systems, reverse osmosis systems and acid neutralizers for the residential and commercial water treatment industry. The deal complements Pentair’s residential water offerings, the company said.
