New Lenox, IL-based HVAC distributor Munch’s Supply has acquired Tommark Company, including its six Michigan branches. The acquisition expands Munch’s Supply to include 24 locations, with a dozen branches in Chicago, Northwest Indiana and Michigan, as well as six O’Connor Company branches in Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri.
“Tommark has a great team in place and we look forward to expanding into new product and customer segments,” says Munch’s CEO Robert Munch. “We are excited to further develop our company’s presence in the state of Michigan through Tommark’s convenient locations. Superior, award-winning customer service remains our No. 1 priority.”
Munch’s Supply stocks more than 10,000 SKUs per location, marketing itself as a full-service, “one-stop-shop” for HVAC dealers and contractors. Operating in the Chicago area since 1956, private equity firm Rotunda Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Munch’s in 2015.
