Jameson Acquired by Private Equity Firm

Jameson LLC, Clover, SC, a manufacturer of tools and lighting solutions across industrial end markets, has been acquired by Denver, CO-based private equity firm Platte River Equity. Terms were not disclosed.

Platte River Equity will combine Jameson with its existing portfolio company, Huskie Tools LLC, an independent provider of professional-grade, battery-operated hydraulic hand tools, hoists and related accessories. The new diversified entity will be focused on the industrial tools sector and based in Glendale Heights, IL.
