Emerson (NYSE: EMR), St. Louis, Missouri, reported second quarter sales of $4.6 billion, up 8% compared with the year-ago period. The company reported a profit of $489 million, down 6.9% over the same period in 2018.
For the first six months sales increased 8% to $8.1 billion. Profit fell 11% to $883 million.
