CRC Industries Acquires ChemFree

Acquisition creates sustainable competitive advantages for company.

CRC Industries Inc., Burbank, CA, has acquired ChemFree Corp., Norcross, GA, a subsidiary of Intelligent Systems Corp. and manufacturer of the SmartWasher® bio remediating parts washing system. Terms were not disclosed.

The manufacturing, sales, customer service, distribution and administration offices of ChemFree will remain headquartered in Norcross, GA, and will report directly to Wayne King, president of CRC Americas group.

"This acquisition creates sustainable competitive advantages and values for our customers worldwide," said Scott Grey, CEO of CRC Industries.

CRC Industries produces specialty chemicals for maintenance, repair and operational professionals and do-it-yourselfers within the automotive, heavy duty truck, marine, electrical, industrial, hardware and aviation markets.
