Building Materials Corp. Acquires Quest Construction Products

Company buys remaining division of Quest Specialty Chemicals Inc. from Audax Private Equity and Moelis Capital Partners.

Building Materials Corp. of America GAF, Parsippany, NJ, has acquired Quest Construction Products, the remaining division of coatings manufacturer Quest Specialty Chemicals Inc., Charleston, SC, from private equity firms Audax Private Equity, Boston, MA, and Moelis Capital Partners, New York, NY.

With this sale, Audax and MCP will have fully exited their investments in Quest, following the sale of the Quest Automotive Products and Quest Industrial Products divisions to The Valspar Corporation earlier this year.
