Robert Bosch North America Corp., Farmington Hills, MI, part of Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart, Germany,has acquired Climatec LLC, Phoenix, AZ, a provider of energy efficiency, building automation, security and life-safety solutions for the U.S. Terms were not disclosed.
Climatec, which reported sales of $170 million in 2013 and is expected to report 2014 sales of $190 million, has 670 employees at 12 locations. Climatec has been majority-owned by Pegasus Capital Advisors LP since April 2012.
"With the addition of Climatec, we are expanding our global presence especially in the growing North American market, strengthening our portfolio and becoming a comprehensive supplier of solutions in the area of energy, building automation and security services,” said Stefan Hartung of Bosch.
