Belt Power Acquires Sun Belt

Acquisition expands company's presence in the Midwest and Southeast markets.

Belt Power LLC, Atlanta, GA, a distributor and fabricator of lightweight conveyor system components, has acquired Sun Belt Inc. Lakeland, FL. Terms were not disclosed.

Sun Belt is a lightweight conveyor belt distributor offering innovative solutions for customers in the Midwest and Southeast markets through branches located in Lenexa, KS, and Lakeland, FL.

Sun Belt owner Gunnar Henning will take an active leadership role in the company.

Shorehill Capital LLC, the majority investor in Belt Power, supported the acquisition with additional equity capital.
