Applied Industrial Technologies Acquires Seals Unlimited

Acquisition enhances company's presence in Eastern Canada.

Industrial distributor Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT), Cleveland, OH, has acquired Canada-based Seals Unlimited, a distributor of sealing, fastener and hose products. Terms were not disclosed.

Seals Unlimited has 15 associates in its single location in Burlington, Ontario. The company will operate as a subsidiary of Applied Canada under its existing name.

“Seals Unlimited is an excellent addition to Applied, enhancing our bearings and power transmission platform in Eastern Canada,” said Neil A. Schrimsher, president & CEO.
