Veritiv Corp. (NYSE: VRTV), Atlanta, reported sales for the third quarter of $1.9 billion, a 12.2% decrease from the prior year. The company reported a loss of $5.1 million, compared to a profit of $1.4 million the same quarter a year ago.
For the first nine months, sales were $5.8 billion, down 9.9% year-over-year. The company reported a loss of $32.9 million, compared to a loss of $25 million the same quarter a year ago.
