TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, reported an 8.5% increase in first-quarter net sales to start 2022.
The year-over-year 1Q increase was driven by record first-quarter sales in TriMas’ Packaging group, the company said.
The company also said it leveraged increased TriMas’ Specialty Products sales to improve its 1Q profit by $2.7 million.
TriMas reported diluted EPS of $0.33, while adjusted diluted EPS increased to $0.50, in line with company expectations.
