Sales for thyssenkrupp AG were €10.4 billion (US$11.7 billion) in the second quarter of 2019, up 2% compared to the second quarter of 2018. The company reported a loss of €86 million (US$96.5 million) during the quarter, compared to a profit of €250 million (US$280.5 million) the previous year.
For the first six months sales were €20.4 billion (US$22.9 billion), up 2% over the same in 2018. Profit for the period totaled €59 million (US$66.2 million) compared to €343 million (US$384.8 million) in the previous year.
