Bearings manufacturer RBC Bearings Inc. (Nasdaq: ROLL), Oxford, Connecticut, reported sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2021 of $146.3 million, down 19.6% from the same quarter last year. Profit was $20.4 million, a 34.8% decline from the second quarter of fiscal 2020.
For the first six months of the fiscal year, sales totaled $302.8 million, a 16.9% decline from the year-ago period. Profit for the year was $43.1 million, down 30.3% from the first six months of fiscal 2020.
