Kimberly-Clark Corp., Dallas, TX, reported second-quarter sales of $4.6 billion, down slightly compared with the second quarter of 2018. The company reported second-quarter profit of $495 million, up 6.6% over the previous year.
For the first six months sales fell 1% to $9.3 billion. Profit rose 57% to $961 million.
