Engineering and construction firm Fluor Corp. (NYSE: FLR), Irving, Texas, reported sales for the third quarter of $3.8 billion, a decrease of 17.8% compared to the same period a year ago. The company’s profit of $23.4 million was up from a loss of $754.1 million a year ago.
Year-to-date sales were $12 billion, down 6.9% over the prior-year period. The company has posted a loss of $158.4 million for the first nine months, as compared to a loss of $1.2 billion for the same period in 2019.
