DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE), Houston, Texas, reported second-quarter sales of $251.4 million, down 24.6% compared to the second quarter of 2019. Net income was $2.1 million, down from $13.4 million in the year-ago period.
Sales for the six months ended June 30 were $552.4 million, down 14.3% from the same period a year ago. Net income of $7.8 million was down to almost a third of last year’s net income, $20.8 million.
