Stockholm, Sweden-based manufacturer Atlas Copco announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire Ehrler and Beck GmbH, a distributor of vacuum equipment and vacuum services. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Ehrler and Beck is based in Renningen, Germany, and has 15 employees. The company’s sales and service network is active in Germany and neighboring countries.
“This acquisition will increase our possibilities to serve Germany and neighboring countries with industrial vacuum products and services,” said Geert Follens, business area president Vacuum Technique. “Ehrler and Beck has a strong reputation and long tradition of serving diverse industrial markets such as packaging, printing, wood working, plastic and water treatment.”
Ehrler and Beck will become part of Atlas Copco’s Industrial Vacuum Division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area. The acquisition is expected to close in January 2021.
