TimkenSteel Corporation (NYSE: TMST), Canton, OH, reported sales for the third quarter of $434.2 million, up 23.9 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 50.3 percent to $25.7 million.
Industrial and mobile segment sales in the second quarter were $240.8 million, up 10 percent year-over-year. Energy and distribution segment sales were up 47 percent to $193.4 million.
Year-to-date sales were $1.3 billion, up 20.5 percent over the prior-year period. Profit increased 38.8 percent to $88 million.
