Swedish manufacturer Sandvik (STO: SAND) reported sales for the third quarter 2017 of SEK 21.5 billion (US$2.6 billion), a 12 percent increase year-over-year. Profit for the quarter increased to SEK 2.48 billion (US$303 million).
Year-to-date, sales were SEK 66.9 billion (US$8.2 billion), up 9 percent.
