Rexnord Corp. (NYSE: RXN), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales for the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, of $507 million, an increase of 4 percent from third-quarter 2013. Core sales increased 3 percent from the previous year. Profit for the quarter decreased to $2.2 million from $28.6 million.

For the first nine months of the fiscal year, sales were $1.6 billion, a 2.8 percent increase from the previous year. The company reported a profit of $51.3 million year-to-date, up from a loss of $10.3 million for the same period in 2013.
