Rexnord Corp. (NYSE: RXN), Milwaukee, WI, reported sales for fiscal 2017 ending March 31 fell 0.2 percent over the prior year to $1.9 billion. The company reported a profit of $66.8 million down from $67.9 million the previous year.
Sales in the fourth quarter grew 2.2 percent over the prior-year quarter to $503.6 million. The company reported a profit for the quarter of $21.6 million compared to a loss of $0.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2016. Water management sales decreased by 4 percent year over year to $190 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2017 and process & motion control sales increased 7 percent year over year to $314 million.
