RBC Bearings Inc. (Nasdaq: ROLL), Oxford, CT, reported sales for the second quarter of fiscal 2017 of $164.3 million, an increase of 6.7 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 18.7 percent to $14.8 million.
For the first six months, sales were $328.2 million, an increase of 6.4 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 1 percent to $36.6 million.
