Milwaukee, WI-based Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI), a global multi-industrial company, reported sales for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30 of $37.2 billion, a year-over-year decrease of 4.1 percent. Profit grew 28.6 percent to $1.6 billion.
In the fourth quarter, sales were $8.7 billion, down 12.1 percent over the prior-year period. Profit was $349 million, up 12.9 percent from the year-ago quarter.
Building Efficiency sales in the fiscal 2015 fourth quarter were $2.9 billion, consistent with the same quarter last year. Automotive Experience sales in the quarter declined 21 percent to $4.2 billion. And Power Solutions sales decreased 6 percent to $1.7 billion.
