Huttig Building Products Inc. (NASDAQ: HBP), St. Louis, MO, a distributor of millwork, building materials and wood products, reported third-quarter sales of $181.7 million, a year-over-year increase of 4 percent. Profit was $20.5 million, compared to $3.5 million the prior year.
For the nine-month period, sales were $504.2 million, a year-over-year increase of 5.4 percent. Profit was $25.6 million, compared to $2.7 million the prior year period.
