St. Louis, MO-based Graybar reported sales for the second quarter of $1.6 billion, a 3.9 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 2.2 percent to $25.6 million.
For the first six months of the year, sales were $3.1 billion, a 4.5 percent increase from the same period last year. Profit increased 8.3 percent to $40.7 million.
"We believe our investments in locations, people and technology are contributing to our positive results,” said Kathleen M. Mazzarella, president and CEO.
