Flowserve Corp. (NYSE: FLS), Dallas, TX, reported sales for the third quarter of $883.4 million, a decrease of 6.6 percent year-over-year. The company reported a profit of $47.6 million, up from a loss of $15.8 million the same period a year ago.
Year-to-date sales were $2.6 billion, a decrease of 10 percent over the prior-year period. Profit increased 49.9 percent to $108.5 million.
