Ferguson, Newport News, VA, has named 10 students Ferguson Scholars, giving each a $1,500 scholarship per year, for up to four years, to help with their trade school or college tuition.

All of the recipients are children of Ferguson associates who are well-rounded and academically focused, the company said. The group is comprised of seven high school students and three college students spanning several states.

The Ferguson Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 and has awarded more than $400,000 to nearly 100 students during the decade.
