DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE), Houston, TX, reported sales for the third quarter of $303.1 million, a decrease of 21.7 percent compared to the same period a year ago. The company reported a loss of $52.5 million, compared to a profit of $17 million the prior year.
For the first nine months, sales were $968.4 million, a decrease of 13.3 percent compared to the same period a year ago. The company reported a loss of $35.7 million, compared to a profit of $42.8 million the prior year.
