Continental Building Products Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Herndon, VA, manufacturer of gypsum wallboard and finishing products, reported third quarter sales of $108.2 million, a decrease of 4.9 percent year-over-year. Profit decreased 55.3 percent to $4.2 million.
Year-to-date sales were $311.3 million, a 2.5 percent increase compared to the prior year period. Profit increased 10.9 percent to $6.1 million.
