Boise Cascade Co. (NYSE: BCC), Boise, ID, reported sales for the first quarter of $809.9 million, an increase of 6 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 37 percent to $7.6 million from the first quarter of 2014.
Building materials distribution segment sales were $622.9 million in the quarter, up 6 percent year-over-year. Wood products segment sales were $309.3 million, up 5 percent.
