Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B), Bristol, CT, an international industrial and aerospace manufacturer and service provider, reported sales for the second quarter of $364.5 million, an 18.8 percent increase year-over-year. Profit for the quarter increased 35.6 percent year-over-year to $45 million.

Industrial sales were $251.8 million, up 23.1 percent. Aerospace sales were $112.7 million, up 10.3 percent year-over-year.

Year-to-date sales were $706.3 million, up 18.7 percent over the prior-year period. Profit increased 34.3 percent to $83.3 million.
