Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco (STO: ATCOA, ATCOB), Nacka, Sweden, reported revenues for the third quarter of SEK 28.5 billion (US$3.5 billion), a 10.5 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 29.8 percent to SEK 4.4 billion (US$0.5 billion).
For the first nine months, sales were SEK 85.6 billion (US$10.5 billion), up 17.4 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 31.9 percent to SEK 12.5 billion (US$1.5 billion).
