Electrical, industrial and communications products distributor WESCO International Inc. (NYSE: WCC), Pittsburgh, PA, said that its WESCO Services, LLC subsidiary has completed the previously announced acquisition of Sylvania Lighting Solutions from OSRAM Sylvania. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
SLS offers a full spectrum of energy-efficient lighting upgrade, retrofit and renovation solutions. Based in Wilmington, MA, the company has annual sales of more than $100 million and approximately 220 employees across the United States and Canada.
The deal strengthens WESCO’s lighting solutions and services business, the company said.
WESCO will acquire SLS's business operations in the United States and Canada. SLS's CEO Todd Myers will continue to lead the organization, WESCO said.
