WD-40 Company (NASDAQ: WDFC), San Diego, CA, reported sales for the fiscal year end of $380.7 million, a year-over-year increase of 1 percent. Profit grew 17 percent to $52.6 million.
For the fourth quarter, sales were $97.2 million, up 6 percent over the same period a year ago. Profit increased 21 percent to $14.2 million.
Fourth quarter maintenance products sales were $86.5 million, up 8 percent from the prior year.
Homecare and cleaning products sales were $10.6 million for the quarter, down 9 percent year-over-year.
Americas segment sales in the fourth quarter were $51.7 million, up 7 percent compared to the prior year quarter. The Europe, Middle East, Africa and India segment sales were up 4 percent to $34.6 million, and Asia-Pacific segment sales were up 4 percent to $11 million.
