Wausau Paper (NYSE: WPP), Mosinee, WI, reported sales for the second quarter of $90.9 million, a 1.9 percent increase over the same period a year ago. Profit was $2.1 million, compared to a loss the prior year of $3.8 million.
For the first six months, sales were $175.1 million, up 5 percent year-over-year. Profit was $2.5 million, compared to a loss the prior year of $8.7 million.
