MRO distributor Stellar Industrial Supply, Tacoma, WA, has agreed to merge with Advantage Machine & Tool Inc., Billings, MT. The transaction is scheduled to close December 31. Terms were not disclosed.
“The combination of Stellar and AMT will result in Stellar having a wider presence in the MRO, safety supply, cutting tools and abrasives business,” said John Wiborg, president of Stellar.
After the merger is completed, Stellar will have 150 employees and eleven branches. In addition to the headquarters facility in Tacoma, Stellar will have the following branches; Portland, OR, Albany, OR, Eugene, OR, Newberg, OR, Everett, WA, Ferndale, WA, Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA and Pasco, WA, Upland, CA, and Billings, MT.
