Sonepar Deutschland, a division of Paris, France-based electrical distributor Sonepar, has acquired BTF-Group.

BTF-Group consists of three companies in Germany, generating annual sales of €50 million (US$68.2 million) with 194 associates. BTF has eight branches, of which six branches are located in the north of Frankfurt. HEG is also located in the north of Frankfurt. Bähr is based in Mannheim covering the south of Frankfurt area.

BTF contributes to Sonepar’s strategy of strengthening its market position in the Frankfurt area.

Christof Bonn, general manager and co-owner of BTF-Group, will stay as an advisor supporting BTF’s general managers Georg Tatje and Heiko Schäfer.
