Snap-on Inc. (NYSE: SNA), Kenosha, WI, reported sales for 2015 of $3.4 billion, a 2.3 percent increase from the previous year, with organic sales up 7.1 percent. Profit increased 13.5 percent to $478.7 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $851.7 million, a 0.7 percent decrease year-over-year, with organic sales up 3.1 percent. Profit increased 13.1 percent to $131.4 million.
Commercial and industrial segment sales for the quarter decreased 5.5 percent year-over-year to $281.8 million, while Snap-on tools sales were up 6.1 percent to $411.2 million. Repair systems and information sales decreased 0.8 percent in the quarter to $280.6 million.
