Snap-on Agrees to Acquire Car-O-Liner

Acquisition expands Snap-on's presence in numerous countries.

Tool manufacturer Snap-on Inc. (NYSE: SNA), Kenosha, WI, has agreed to acquire Swedish manufacturer Car-O-Liner Holding AB for $155 million.

Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Car-O-Liner has annual sales of $95 million. Its subsidiaries are located in Sweden, Norway, United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Singapore, India, Thailand and China, and its sells through local distributors in more than 70 countries.
