Sealed Air Corp. (NYSE: SEE), Elmwood Park, NJ, reported full year sales for 2013 of $7.7 billion, an increase of 1.7 percent from the previous year. Profit increased to $124.2 million from a loss of $1.4 billion the previous year.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $2 billion, an increase of 3 percent year-over-year. Profit increased to $27.6 million from a loss of $158.3 million the year before.
For the full year, net sales increased 8.8 percent for AMAT (Asia, Middle East, Africa, Turkey), 9.7 percent for Latin America and 2.1 percent for North America, while Europe and JANZ (Japan, Australia, New Zealand) were essentially unchanged compared to the previous year.
