Industrial gases company Praxair Inc. (NYSE: PX), Danbury, CT, will increase prices on packaged industrial, specialty and medical gas and bulk gas customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, effective Jan. 1.
Price adjustments will vary as permitted by individual supply contracts. Prices will increase up to 10 percent for nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide; up to 15 percent for argon, hydrogen and helium; up to 10 percent for facility fees or other monthly supply system charges and up to 5 percent on hardgoods.
The company in November increased prices up to 10 percent on bulk and packaged industrial, medical and specialty gases.
