Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR), London, reported second-quarter sales of $800 million, up 2% compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $114.3 million compared to $41.5 million during the same period last year.
For the first six months sales decreased 1.7% to $1.5 billion. Profit increased 14.7% to $165.6 million.
