Packaging Corp. of America (NYSE: PKG), Lake Forest, IL, reported second-quarter sales of $1.8 billion, up 13% compared with the 2017 second quarter. The company reported net income of $186.6 million for the quarter, a 30% increase over the prior-year period.
Sales and earnings for the first six months of the year were $3.5 billion and $326.7 million, respectively.
